Astrophotography from a tripod

Constellation Ursa Major:
northern part

Date: unknown, 1995

Lens: f=50 mm f/1,7

Exposure time: 40 seconds

Film: Agfachrome 1000 RS

The bright star in the upper left corner is Polaris. The speck in the yellow square is M81. M81 appears to be reddish, because only the bright core with dominating reddish stars was recorded. M82 is not visible. I used such pictures to learn asterisms that lead me to interesting objects. It is a sort of star hopping.
